The minister in Zambia

When I arrived home in Zambia I was welcomed by the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development Hon. Chifire. The minister promised us to talk to the minister of lands so that they can give us a land for the school, so we can build more classrooms.

The Circus!

Because they were celebrating the Cildrens Peace Prize they organised a circus on the 17th of december 2007 and the titel for the circus was Afrika Afrika. It was fun because there were famous dutch people doing the acts with the normal circus artists.

On the picture you see me on the stage. On the middle there is Marc Dullaert he is the chairman for KidsRights and at the end there is a lady she was presenting the whole show.

Children's Peace Prize 2007

This is the time when I was receiving the International Childrens Peace Prize on the 16th of december 2007. It was the official ceremony in the famous Dutch hall called the Ridderzaal. I receve the prize because of the things that I was doing for my friends and many children in zambia about childrens rights.

On my right side is the lovely lady her name is Betty Williams and on my left side is Bob Geldof they are nice people very encouraging. The time I was receiving the prize it was very difficult for me to held my strencth but Bob Geldof and Betty they gave me courage to stand and speak without fear for more than 500 white people.

As you can see I was being hugged by Betty on the right side. And on my right there is a guy from India his name is Nirpendra and on the last there is mr Wiseman my school coordinator from Zambia.

Human Rights - my first post on my first blog!

Hi to every one listening to me am Thandiwe and my family name is Chama.
I am the first born in the family of three i love my family very much!

the reason why I named it Human Rights is because I love knowing my rights and my responsblity as a child. on this blog i will be writing about rights of children and how they are been neglected.

I do this because i am involved in a club called C R C which stands Children Rights Club. because of this CLUB I won the International Childrens Peace Prize
